The L1S-40 Laser Distance Sensor applies phase-shift laser measurement technology, delivering high accuracy and repeatability for short- and medium-range distance sensing. By continuously modulating the emitted laser beam and analyzing the phase difference of the reflected signal, the sensor achieves millimeter-level precision suitable for control and monitoring applications.
Compared with the standard L1 module, the L1S-40 integrates an industrial protective housing, offering improved resistance to dust, moisture, and mechanical stress. The IP56 version is suitable for general industrial environments, while the IP67 version supports operation in more demanding conditions where water exposure or heavy dust is present.
With a TTL UART interface, low power consumption, and compact size, the L1S-40 integrates easily into embedded systems, automation equipment, and OEM products that require both precision measurement and environmental protection.
