The L4s-80 Potting Laser Distance Sensor utilizes phase-shift laser ranging technology, one of the most accurate measurement methods for short- and medium-range distance sensing. By analyzing the phase difference between emitted and reflected continuous-wave laser signals, the sensor achieves millimeter-level accuracy and excellent repeatability.
This model features a fully potting-filled structure, significantly enhancing resistance to vibration, moisture, and dust. With an IP67 protection rating, it is well suited for industrial environments where standard sensors may fail.
The RS232 interface provides stable and reliable data transmission, with configurable baud rates and support for Modbus RTU, making integration into PLCs and industrial control systems straightforward. The L4s-80 is optimized for indoor and controlled environments; for long-distance or outdoor applications, the use of a reflective target is recommended.
